Smalltime Oakland mob enforcers
Jesus (
David "Dyno" Rocha) and
Navajas (
Carlos "Pelon" Vasquez) attempt to smuggle ten pounds of heroin out of Texas and into California. But their pickup truck is stolen somewhere in the Lone Star State, with the drugs in it, and they have to turn into detectives to recover it. They quickly find a record store owner who knows the dirtball rednecks who stole the truck; the rednecks have set up a sale to a local pusher with a bad haircut.
Jesus and
Navajas discover the details and set out to interrupt the proceedings -- with guns ablazing.

The Dope Game combines hallmarks from two of the video industry's most devoted markets -- the Hispanic market and the urban market. And like most urban movies, this one is entirely profane and mindlessly violent, shot on a woefully low budget by a crew that barely knows which end to point the camera. The story follows the exploits of two overweight, inept Latino gangstas who move from one logic-struggling scene to the next, accompanied by a profanity-laced
hip-hop soundtrack. Neither better nor worse than most of the
exploitation films offered to the African-American market, this one is of interest only because of its Spanish accent.
