Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone was one of the most respected and influential television shows in history. This disc collects three classic episodes from the show: "Time Enough at Last," featuring Burgess Meredith as a man who loves reading more than anything; "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street," a lesson in paranoia and mob mentality; and "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet," featuring William Shatner as an on-edge airline passenger. Each episode is presented in its original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither closed captions nor subtitles on this release. Supplemental materials include a biographical sketch of Serling, a history of the series, cast information, and reviews of the individual episodes. This is a very enjoyable DVD from Image.
