2006 digitally remastered edition of the bands debut album that was clearly influenced by 50s Rock n Roll as well as Roy Woods previous bands. Wood could be seen as rather eccentric, yet thats probably what also makes him such a musical genius. He started with The Move, evolved that into ELO, but left them behind and created Wizzard, a rather chaotic but melodic band that hit the top the UK charts with See My Baby Jive and Angel Fingers - both in 1973. Their best known hit, I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday (included in this set), is often reissued on Christmas collections but never hit the top of the charts! Wizzards Brew was one of the noisiest albums of its era and still sounds like a psychedelic mishap, ingeniously melded together to create a recorded artwork that pushed the boundaries and has stood the test of time. This edition adds 9 tracks to the original 6, comprised of various single b-sides and separate hits.
